The club armchair (B3), better known as the Wassily chair. Designed in 1925 and named after the painter Wassily Kandinsky for his home at the Bauhaus.
Made from chrome steel, teak and with original fabric, this chair has had it's foam padding replaced.The chair has a most complex arrangement of parts with thin strip planes, made from leather and tubular steel intersecting and passing each other at different levels. The broad shiny silver steel tubular frame describes in perfect outline, a well proportioned armchair.
